Roadmaster Universal Diode Wiring Kit Installation - 2015 Kia Soul- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Kia Soul we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Roadmaster Universal high powered diode wiring kit, part number RM-152. Now to help us with our install we're gonna be using the Roadmaster seven wire to six wire Flexo-Coil Kit, part number RM-146-7.Here's what our wiring looks like installed, it is gonna include an umbilical cord to connect our RV to our vehicle and the wiring is gonna allow us to use our factory lights and accept the signals from our RV so that people can know whether we're going down the road with our taillights on, brake lights, and our turn signals. This is gonna take away the need for the magnetic lights you see a lot on towed vehicles and it's gonna use our factory lights and it's gonna have some diodes that are gonna tap into our factory wiring preventing any kind of feedback coming from our RV and damaging our factory wiring.Now that we know how our wiring is gonna work let's show you how to get it installed. With our baseplate torqued down and everything in place now would be a good time if you are doing wiring to go ahead and at least bring your wires while the fascia's off, making it a little bit easier to get where we need to go. I'm just gonna take my wiring, I'm actually just gonna loop it around these posts right here, just leave it right there with a little loop so I have plenty to work with. I'm gonna start routing it towards the engine and once we get it up passed everything I'm just gonna come up behind my headlight here and I'm gonna leave it up in the engine bay for now.With our fascia back on I'm gonna slightly pull my wire out just a little bit. more

Roadmaster Tow Bar High-Low Adapter Installation - 2015 Kia Soul- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Kia Soul we're gonna be taking a look at the Roadmaster high-low adapter for tow bars, part number RM-070.So here's what our high-low adapter looks like when it's fully installed. The main purpose is to take up the difference in height between our hitch on our motor home and our base plate on our vehicle. Here we have it in the drop position, and this is gonna provide us with four inches of drop, or we can flip it over and it'll provide us with four inches of rise. Now with it in the drop position this is gonna be perfect for our Kia, because the base plate does sit very low on the vehicle. Now our adapter is made out of steel, but the hollow shank is gonna make it nice and lightweight, easier to handle, and the black powder coat finish is gonna resist rust and corrosion.Now to give you a few measurements, from the center of our hitch pin to the angled brace right here, it's gonna be about six inches. From the center of our hitch pin hole to the other center of our hitch pin hole, it's gonna be right about 10 1/4 inches. more

Universal Kit for a Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2012 Kia Soul- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2012 Kia Soul, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install universal installation kit for trailer brake controllers. Part number ETBC7. This is what our seven and four way look like when it's installed, it's going to give you all the proper lighting for your trailer, it's also going to give the option if you have a trailer with only a four pole, that you can hook up just to the four pole. This is going to be for vehicles that are not equipped with a tow package.What we'll do is, you have a spring loaded lid here, it's going to help keep in the moisture and stuff, the elements out from your connections. It's going to have a little tab and it's going to lock your plug into place so it won't pull out while you're driving. We can use this with trailers that have brakes on them, however you would need a brake controller. more

Yakima Roof Rack Review - 2017 Kia Soul Y00148- Video
Today on our 2017 Kia Soul, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Skyline Roof Rack System consisting of part numbers Y00408. These are the round 48" CrossBars. Part number Y00148, these are the SkyLine Towers. Part number Y03536, and this is the RoundBar SL Adapter for the Yakima Skyline Towers. Part number Y00233, and these are the Landing Pads for the Yakima Control Towers. The Yakima Skyline Roof Rack is great for carrying accessories on your roof and potentially freeing up space in your vehicle. more
